Technical Visit to the Wales Coast Path

GCTA’s Executive Director, Erika Pardy, and Trail Design & Development Specialist, Melissa Mills were invited by the Wales Coast Path team for a technical visit, gaining first‑hand insight into how a mature national coastal trail is planned, managed, and maintained. The trip allowed GCTA to learn directly from the trials, errors, and successes the Wales Coast Path has navigated over many years, and to establish meaningful collaborations with their staff that will inform planning, design, and operations on the Great Coastal Trail for years to come
